Coaching and development

​The Coaching and development team are responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of the Club playing philosophy, coaching philosophy and Coach Competency Framework as agreed by the Technical Board and in conjunction with the First Team Manager, Head of Academy and Sporting Director.

There are a wide variety of roles throughout the First Team and Academy and the majority require specific coaching qualifications and significant experience in elite football coaching. The aim of these roles are to ensure a high standard of playing discipline, coaching, motivation, tactical instruction and standard of play.

Typical roles in the Coaching and Development Team include First Team Coaches, Academy Coaches and Player Development Coaches.
