We all know that applying for a new job is a big deal and that assessment processes can be scary but it's important throughout the process to be yourself and be honest! Our values are important to us and not every role needs football experience. We would ask that you remove as much identifiable data as possible from your application (i.e. photo, martial status, age etc) as recruitment decisions are based solely on fit for role.

Below is some guidance on our recruitment process that you may find helpful.

Make sure that you specifically align your application to the essential and desirable requirements of the Job Description, calling out any key, quantifiable measures you can share with us to really call out your experience and skills.

We know it's great to work here but it isn't all plain sailing, we are on a journey and it's an exciting one. However, you need to be comfortable with an "all hands on deck" solution focussed approach. It's important to us that we get a feel for why you want to work for the Club and what you can bring to the role in particular.

Our assessment process is dynamic and growing as the Club evolves however our values or at the heart of everything we do so expect some values based questions. You will be asked to give some specific examples of where you have demonstrated our values in the past. There are loads of websites that you can research that will give you a good insight into values based recruitment.

We are also keen that you are able to demonstrate your skills, potential and ability in other ways so you may be asked to undertake a task directly related to what you will be doing in the role.

There are often two stages to our recruitment with the first being an online interview then, if successful, a more in depth face to face assessment.

It is also important to us that you are able to shine during any assessment so if you need any additional support or adjustments it is really important that you let the Resourcing Team know how we can help.
