About the Role
We’re looking for an individual to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing department as an Accommodation Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for coordinating accommodation services for the players of Newcastle United Boys Academy, Newcastle United Women’s Team and Newcastle United Girls Academy. This includes managing accommodation and host family placements, ensuring safeguarding and compliance, and providing ongoing support to both players and host families to ensure a high-quality, safe, and player-centred experience.
Your impact
You will have a Level 3 (or above) qualification in a child-related field such as Education, Health and Social Care, Childcare, or Youth Work and a Local Safeguarding Children Board Level 3 training, with a knowledge of the principles of safeguarding and wellbeing and the wider needs of children and young people.
You will have exceptional communication skills (verbal and listening) with the ability to work under high pressure at short notice and solve problems whilst being able to prioritise.
You will be organised, with excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
In this role you will need to have a full driving license (preferably clean) and access to a car.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
