About the role

 

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to proactively manage and promote inclusion, ensuring all departments and practices meet requirements and remain compliant with legislation by way of training, implementing and embedding best practice throughout the Club.

 

Managing the development and integration of the Inclusion strategy to promote a culture of inclusivity by embedding best practice through communication and development.

 

Leading the Club’s commitment to achieving successful compliance in line with the overarching strategy and relevant league rules this role will be critical in also representing the Club at external events, developing relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to raise the profile of the Club as an inclusive employer.

 

Your impact

 

Leading on all equality incidents, allegations and concerns, some of which maybe extremely complex, you will have significant demonstrable experience in a similar role and hold a degree level education, or relevant experience, in a similar subject (i.e. economics or social science).

 

You will have excellent mentoring, coaching and communication skills with experience gained in the delivery of Equality and Inclusion training and complaint handling.
