About the role

We’re looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance team, where you will be the subject matter expert for group finance systems. Your primary focus of the role is the club’s new ERP system, Workday where you will take the lead in the day to day running of the application.

You will troubleshoot system functional issues, identifying root causes, and implement and advise on solutions in a timely manner to minimise any loss in functionality. Working collaboratively with both IT and the wider Finance team you will help resolve technical issues and optimise system performance and functionality.

Your impact

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience, with significant knowledge of working in a Finance department.

You will be analytically minded with a logical approach to problem solving, and a real self-starter who has the ability to work independently and take the initiative. You will be confident in using ERP systems, with experience in configuring, supporting and optimising systems.

You will be able to interpret financial statements, cost structures, and budgeting processes, with strong understanding of business processes to help configure systems to meet the needs of the business.

About the team

You will sit within our Finance team, reporting into our Financial Controller working closely with wider Finance team. You will also work collaboratively with our IT team.

Location

This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
