About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to support our Head of Learning and Apprenticeships in continuing to build and embed a culture of continuous learning at the Club.
The Club is committed to investing in its people to achieve organisational success and strategic goals. A key part of this role is supporting the development of internal talent – creating career pathways, supporting succession planning, and ensuring colleagues have the skills and confidence to grow with us.
You will partner with stakeholders across the Club, and where appropriate external partners, to identify learning needs in line with a comprehensive, Club-wide strategy. From leadership development to compliance and professional skills, you’ll design and deliver innovative programmes that make learning accessible and inclusive for colleagues at all levels. You’ll also help embed our values through practical development opportunities that strengthen both performance and culture.
Your impact
You will have a strong record of implementing learning and development strategies that improve business and employee performance, supported by either extensive experience in the field or a relevant qualification such as a degree or CIPD.
Creative and proactive, you’ll be confident in analysing learning needs and designing engaging solutions. With experience of learning management systems and digital approaches, you’ll know how to build development pathways that blend digital, classroom, coaching, and on-the-job learning, sometimes working with external partners where they add value. You will also evaluate the impact of programmes to ensure learning translates into performance improvement.
Experience of working with senior stakeholders, talent mapping, and career development is essential, along with a commitment to making development inclusive and accessible for colleagues at all levels.
About the team
Working with Stuart, our Head of Learning and Apprenticeships, you’ll join a growing People and Talent Team passionate about our values and continuing to build a learning culture already underway – where development is part of everyday life and people feel supported to reach their potential.
