We’re looking for an experienced, confident and commercially driven Senior Partnership Development Manager who can hit the ground running. You’ll take ownership of securing high‑value global partnerships, driving a strong pipeline from day one, and delivering results in a fast‑paced, elite sporting environment. You’ll bring an established network of brand and contacts, enabling you to quickly open doors, start conversations and accelerate opportunities.
Working closely with the Head of Partnership Development, you’ll manage the full deal cycle — from prospecting and relationship‑building through to pitching, negotiation and closing. You’ll lead with energy, pace and precision, identifying opportunities, opening doors and creating compelling, insight‑led proposals that win.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, resilient and thrives on delivering results. You’ll have:
* A strong track record in closing significant commercial partnership deals and consistently exceeding B2B revenue targets
* Demonstrable success in partnerships or sponsorship sales, within sport
* Confidence creating and pitching high‑quality, bespoke commercial propositions
* The ability to quickly build trusted relationships at senior levels, both internally and externally
* A natural drive to grow pipelines, maximise opportunities and consistently move deals forward
* An existing network of brands and contacts, enabling you to accelerate commercial conversations from day one
* A strong ability to determine the Club’s unique ‘hook’ when responding to a brief, aligning partner needs with compelling NUFC‑led solutions
* This role requires regular attendance at prospect meetings, industry events and conferences in the UK and internationally.
About the team
You’ll join a high‑performing, ambitious Partnerships team with deep expertise in sports sponsorship. We work creatively and collaboratively, shaping exciting propositions, exploring emerging categories, and building a diverse global partner portfolio that reflects the ambition of the Club.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
