About the role
We’re looking for a committed and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure our stadium remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for supporters, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will uphold the highest cleaning standards across all areas of St. James’ Park, supporting daily operations and leading by example with a helpful, approachable, and professional attitude.
Your impact
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will train and induct new staff in C.O.S.H.H. and BICS-aligned methods, undertake monthly audits, and supervise large teams during matchday and event cleaning operations. You will support event organisation, complete administrative tasks, and provide exceptional customer service. You'll liaise with clients, manage equipment needs, carry out minor repairs, replace dispensers, respond to emergency call-outs, and ensure staff follow all Health & Safety procedures.
About the team
You will be part of the Cleaning team within Venue Operations, working closely with the Cleaning Manager and supervising Cleaning staff to deliver a high‑quality and efficient service across the stadium.
Location
This role is based at St. James’ Park, with occasional work required at other sites. Flexibility is essential, especially during matchdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
