About the role
We’re looking for an eCommerce Web Trading Executive to contribute to the online growth of the Club’s eCommerce store. You will play a key role in actively participating in web trading activities, playing a key role in optimising the website, increasing conversion rates and enhancing overall sales and profitability.
You will collaborate with the Merchandising team to rank and promote key products, maximizing sales and minimising markdowns as required throughout the season. You will analyse and report on daily, weekly and monthly eCommerce performance, providing insights and trade recommendations to the Web Trading Manager.
This is a hands-on role, with involvement in product onboarding and setup, category and page creation, website creative assets and product ranging. You will support with key promotional campaigns.
Your impact
You will have previous experience of working as an executive within a web, digital or ecommerce background. You will have previous experience of working with Shopify plus and have familiarity with SEO. You will also be comfortable working with web content management systems and using HTML and CSS.
About the team
You will work in our eCommerce team, working for our eCommerce Web Trading Manager and will work closely with our eCommerce Manager and Head of eCommerce. You will work collaboratively, with the wider Retail and Licensing team working closely with Merchandising and our Retail operations teams.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
