Newcastle United Women’s is seeking 4 Hybrid Scouts to support our recruitment strategy by identifying and assessing potential first-team and emerging talent. Operating within a hybrid model, this part-time role is primarily video based, with targeted live match coverage when required.

You’ll play a key role in helping us build a competitive squad capable of excelling in the Women’s Super League, delivering accurate, evidence-based scouting recommendations aligned with our tactical philosophy.

About the role

The roles are to Support the club’s recruitment strategy through talent identification and assessment. You will contribute directly to building a squad aligned with Newcastle United Women's tactical approach. You will operate in a hybrid capacity- video based scouting with live match attendance is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Player Identification & Scouting

Conduct video scouting across assigned markets and competitions.

Attend live matches strategically, based on departmental needs.

Produce clear and structured scouting reports, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with positional profiles.

Maintain and update watchlists of 'monitor now' players.

Work closely with the Senior Scout, NUW Lead Recruitment Analyst, and data team.

Participate in player meetings, presenting findings and recommendations.

Contribute to the creation of scouting dossiers and recruitment pitches.

Track developments in assigned leagues and markets.

Build and maintain relationships with clubs, academies, and agents to enhance Newcastle United Women’s recruitment network.

Your impact:

Experience in scouting, recruitment, or talent identification (women’s football experience desirable).

Familiarity with video scouting platforms (e.g., Wyscout, Hudl, Scoutastic).

Excellent reporting and presentation skills.

Organised, detail-focused, and collaborative.

Qualifications (Desirable)

FA Talent ID Level 2

UEFA Coaching Licence or equivalent
