About the role
We’re looking for an individual to join our Global Licensing & Image Rights team as an Image Rights Manager. Reporting to the Head of Global Licensing, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club’s portfolio of player Image Rights Agreements, maximising value for all stakeholders.
This is an exciting new role that covers relationship management, business development, rights delivery, reporting, business planning and reviews.
Your impact
You should have:
* Significant experience in a similar or related discipline, with demonstrable experience in managing external relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experience planning, preparing and negotiating commercial agreements.
* Experience managing strategic initiatives to build player/ talent profiles and image.
* Working knowledge of financial reporting principles, including royalty reports and revenue recognition.
* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage projects concurrently across time zones.
* Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
* Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated approach.
It would be great if you have had exposure to talent management and/or global sports property, with an advanced technical knowledge of licensing, sponsorship, and rights delivery.
About the team
You will work within the Global Licensing & Image Rights team (in the Retail & Licensing department), collaborating with colleagues across Football, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, Brand & Marketing, and Media & Communications.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office.
