About the role

We are looking for two first line IT Support Technicians to support Newcastle United, Newcastle United Women and Newcastle United Foundation. You will support on all front-line IT issues and a wide range of applications and services across our sites.

You will provide efficient and customer friendly service to support users through a variety of channels including telephone, emails, and site visits. You will work collaboratively within the IT team ensuring all response times are met. The duties will include logging faults, troubleshooting, and escalating faults in a timely manner. You will also perform regular administration tasks to monitor systems and produce reports. There will also be matchday working which is covered on a rota basis supporting stakeholders across the business.

Your impact

It is essential to have at least GCSE English, Maths & Science grade C or above accompanied with a NVQ in IT or equivalent. You will have working knowledge of PC hardware, scanners, printers, and multifunctional devices. You will have experience of desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office, and local area networks. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team coupled with a good attitude and willingness to learn and manage your time effectively. Excellent communication skills are vital with the ability to provide a “best in class” customer service experience for our stakeholders across the business.
