About the role

 

We’re looking for and experienced Physiotherapist to deliver the best possible medical / rehabilitation services to players on-loan from Newcastle United.

 

The health and wellbeing of our loan players is incredibly important and this role will act as the primary contact of those players by liaising with the loan club medical staff and leading on the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of all injuries.

 

Maintaining clinical records to ensure high quality, professional, clinical governance standards is critical.

 

Due to the nature of the role significant UK and European travel will be involved.

 

Your impact

 

You will hold a BSc in Physiotherapy with significant experience of in a physiotherapy role in professional sports as well as experience in the design and implementation of return to play protocols.

 

You will hold HCPC registration / membership of CSP and possess FA Level 5 ATMMiF.

 

An MSc in Physiotherapy / Sports Medicine and RTUS qualification are highly desirable.

 

About the team

 

Joining our growing and skilled performance department that includes medical, nutrition, psychology and sport science/performance staff you will help support the development, health and wellbeing of the players at NUFC. The role will work closely with colleagues across the player loan multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible experience and development pathway for our loan players in the UK and abroad.
