About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated First Team Physiotherapist to join our Medical Department. In this role, you will assist in delivering best-practice medical and rehabilitation services to First Team squad players, ensuring the highest standards of care and performance support.
Your impact
In this role, you will play a vital part in preventing, diagnosing, and rehabilitating injuries while delivering exceptional clinical care to our players. You will maintain accurate medical records and injury profiling systems, provide pitch-side physiotherapy cover for training sessions and match days, and contribute to the development of evidence-based treatment protocols.
Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that player health and performance are supported at every stage. Your ability to stay current with clinical innovations, maintain CPD requirements, and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills will be essential to success in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the team
You will work within the First Team Medical Department, reporting to the Head Physiotherapist and collaborating with doctors, sports scientists, and performance staff to deliver exceptional care to our players.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with flexibility required for travel and match day commitments. Please note if you do not live in the Northeast, or are willing to relocate, we will not be able to move forward with your application.
