About the role
We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to support our Under 21’s, where you will work closely with the Professional Development Phase (PDP) coaches to deliver elite level evidence-based video and data analysis.
You will lead on daily filming and pre, live and post-match processes, to provide detailed, in depth and actionable video-based analysis content that supports the messages coaches want to deliver to players to help influence player performance.
Using our elite player review system (Hudl), you will collaborate with other academy performance analysts to enable U21 players to review their performance and facilitate their development.
Your impact
You will have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in a sports discipline, preferably Sports Science and be proficient with Hudl Sportscode (or similar platform). You will have previous experience working within an elite professional football club, with excellent football knowledge to observe, analyse and interpret technical and tactical performance in elite professional football.
It would be great if you have your UEFA B Coaching licence or higher, however this is only desirable.
About the team
You will work for our Head of Academy Performance Analysis and the wider academy performance analysis team. You will work collaboratively with our PDP coaches and wider multi-disciplinary teams to support our U21’s.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
